Comstor creates unique programs and provides exceptional financial and technical support to accelerate the business of their partners.
spinTouch’s client, Comstor, has received several awards and accolades including: Cisco’s 1st global distributor, Cisco Distribution Partner awards across a broad range of theaters/geographies, 100% Cisco-dedicated business practice, and continued geographic expansion.
Marketing Challenge
Comstor came to spinTouch with a pressing need to take their reseller focused road show to the next level. This meant strategically planning out road show events around the country in key areas where a dense amount of prospective reseller businesses are located. Choosing venues was the easy part, but the big ask came when Comstor wanted to create an event that encouraged event attendance and engagement for products and solutions that lacked their own intrinsic wow factor. To top it all off Comstor also wanted to incorporate lead generation tools while growing a whole new social presence that previously exist.
In our previous years of road shows, we had a tough time educating clients on our wide range of Cisco solutions. It was even tougher getting them to understand the ins and outs of our partner programs. The interactive booth that spinTouch designed helped us tackle our challenges by supplementing user-driven learning with subtle but critical lead capture elements. Our road show continues to be a hit with our clients. The rest is history!

Initially with loose ideas and unclear goals, spinTouch put Comstor’s marketing team through the spinVision™ (creative brief) discovery process. After rounds of interviews across Comstor’s sales, marketing, and C-Level team it became overwhelming apparent that the main intent of this road show was to drive new business and make the road show an unforgettable experience for attendees. spinTouch’s interactive strategists defined four key pillars for engagement: wow factor, product education, social presence, and lead capture. Each of these elements would serve as way to drive brand, program, or product awareness.

Innovation Now
After just the first few road show events, outstanding buzz and publicity was being generated around Comstors road show experience. Partners and potential clients were being educated and engaged at a whole new level. Most importantly Comstor’s C-Level team was able to track user engagement and provide their sales team with valuable leads and insights around their client’s interests. Products and solutions were well received, and a social media presence grew quickly thanks to clients who were eager to engage and share their innovative road show experience. Overall the Comstor road show was such a success, it brought to life a whole new event solution geared towards a smarthBooth™ environment.
